Terms of sale

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy a report from an online tool at www.ingendia.com/tools/. Who sells you the report depends on the currency you pay in.

If you pay in Australian dollars, the seller is Orainic Pty Ltd (ABN 44 652 405 564), Melbourne, Australia, which operates Ingendia. If you pay in Chinese yuan (RMB) with WeChat Pay, the seller is 台州宇巢科技有限公司, a company registered in mainland China; section 13 sets out what is different for those orders.

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the seller of your order.

1. What you get

Each tool shows you the answer on screen for free. If you buy the report, you get a PDF calculation report for the inputs you entered. It lists every input, every check that was run with the clause it comes from, the step-by-step working, the checks that were not run, your order number, the calculator version and the date.

Each purchase covers one report for one set of inputs. If you change the inputs, that is a new report.

2. Accepting these terms

Before you pay, the tool page asks you to tick a box to confirm that you accept these terms. You can’t continue to payment without ticking it.

3. Price, GST and receipts

The price is shown on the tool page before you pay, in Australian dollars, including GST. After payment we email you a receipt that shows the amount including GST. If you need a tax invoice, email us with your order number and we will send one.

For orders paid in RMB, see section 13 instead.

4. Payment

Card payments in Australian dollars are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Your order is confirmed only once Stripe tells us that the payment was received.

Payments in RMB are made with WeChat Pay; see section 13.

5. Delivery and downloads

No account is needed. After payment, we email a download link to the address you gave us. The link works for 30 days, and you can download the report as often as you need in that time. If the link stops working or the email doesn’t arrive, contact us and we will send it again. Please check that your email address is correct.

Each download produces the report again from the inputs stored with your order, using the current version of the calculator. The report prints both the calculator version at the time of purchase and the current version, and says so if the figures differ.

6. What the report is, and what it is not

The report is a calculation aid to AS/NZS 3008.1.1:2025 for a competent person. It does not replace the designer’s responsibility under AS/NZS 3000. The checks that were not run are listed on every report. You remain responsible for:

  • checking that the inputs match the real installation;
  • the checks the report lists as not run;
  • the final design and its compliance with the standards, the wiring rules and local requirements.

7. Standards

The reports cite the clause and table numbers of the standards they use, and print only the values used in your calculation. The standard itself is not supplied.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Where the Australian Consumer Law applies to your order, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those guarantees or your rights under them.

Our refund policy explains how we handle a report that can’t be produced or is materially wrong.

9. Limits on our liability

Subject to section 8, and to the extent the law allows:

  • our total liability for a report is limited to supplying the report again, or refunding the price you paid for it;
  • if you bought the report for a business, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or the cost of rework, that arises from how the report is used.

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow us to limit our liability.

10. Your information

Our privacy policy explains what we collect when you buy a report and how we handle it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one on this page at the time you paid. The date at the top shows the current version.

12. Governing law

For orders paid in Australian dollars, these terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.

Orders paid in RMB are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China; see section 13.

13. Orders paid in RMB are sold by a mainland Chinese company, under PRC law

This section applies to orders paid in Chinese yuan (RMB) with WeChat Pay. For these orders it takes the place of sections 3, 4 and 12. The rest of these terms applies to them as written.
